Our Team Has More Than 100 Years Combined Industry Experience Midwest Search Group has been steadily growing and matching exceptional talent with exceptional employment opportunities since 2000. In January 2003, we added Midwest Professional Staffing, to provide additional recruiting talent for temporary, temporary to hire and full time job opportunities. In January 2005, we launched another new branch of our business, Midwest Technical Solutions, specializing in full time IT positions, as well as IT consulting.
Jim Bruno Banking jim@midwestsearchgroup.com Jim was born in Baltimore, MD and he received his degree in Finance from Towson State University. Shortly after college Jim was transferred to Des Moines with Massey Ferguson. Jim held several positions with Massey Ferguson ranging from finance to marketing. He later joined Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. in their finance department. Jim has spent the last ten years recruiting Banking professionals.
	John Blanchard, CPA Accounting and Finance john@midwestsearchgroup.com John is a native Iowan and graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Accounting. He started his career as a CPA with McGladrey & Pullen in 1991 providing audit and tax services. After 3 ½ years in public accounting, John has been providing specialized recruiting for large, medium and small businesses throughout the Midwest. John has been an active volunteer with the Iowa Society of CPA's, serving on the Career Awareness Committee.
Joe Steer, CPA Accounting and Finance joe@midwestsearchgroup.com Joe was born and raised in Burlington, IA and is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He started his career with Deloitte and Touche, LLP, and four years later joined Burlington Northern Sante Fe Corporation as the Manager of Financial Reporting. Since 1997 Joe has been a recruiter serving companies of all industries and sizes throughout Iowa. He is an active member of the ISCPA and mentors accounting students at the local colleges. Joe brings a consultive approach to recruiting.
	Andy Cullen Accounting and Finance andy@midwestsearchgroup.com Andy is an Iowa native growing up on a farm in southwest Iowa and is a graduate of Simpson College with a degree in Accounting. He started his career with Deloitte and Touche, LLP and three years later joined the finance team with Pioneer Hi-Bred Intl. Andy focuses on serving small, medium, and large clients while representing high-caliber candidates.
Mark Whitcomb Information Technology mark@midwesttechnicalsolutions.com Mark is an Iowa native and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University. Mark specializes in Permanent, Contract, and Contract-to-hire IT opportunities. Mark has been recruiting Information Technology professionals in the Des Moines market for over fifteen years.
	Sally Blanton Information Technology sally@midwesttechnicalsolutions.com Sally is a native of Iowa and has her B.S. in Business and Computer Science from Winona State University. She has more than fourteen years experience in the recruiting industry. Her focus has been information technology. She has built relationships with clients throughout the upper Midwest.
Trish Lemke Information Technology trish@midwesttechnicalsolutions.com Trish is a native of Mannheim, Germany and came to the United States when she was 7 years old. Trish has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from William Penn University. Prior to joining Midwest Technical Solutions, she held a career as a Business Analyst with a Des Moines insurance company. Trish combines both a strong blend of relationship building and technical experience to her recruiting approach.
	Suzanne O’Connor Banking suzanne@midwestsearchgroup.com Suzanne grew up in a small town in southeast Tennessee. She received her Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Her background is in Transportation Engineering, Traffic Accident Reconstruction, and Land Development. Suzanne decided it was time for a career change. She is hard working, has a technical background, and has great people skills which are key assets for recruiting. She will be working with Banking professionals.

Julie has over 25 years office experience in various fields, such as insurance, manufacturing, and the computer industry. Her background is in the areas of administrative assistance, inside sales, customer service and office management.

Bill is an award winning recruiter with over 15 years experience in the recruiting industry. Bill has spent the majority of his career recruiting in the Accounting, Finance, Office Administration and Information Technology fields.
